I am a Senior research Scientist working with the National Agricultural Research Institute (NARI) of The Gambia. As a Crop protection Specialist, I am currently working with the Pest Management Program PMP of NARI. At PMP, We do conduct agricultural research related to pest and disease management in an environmentally friendly manner. Our Goal is to generate adaptable technologies for our farmers to take up so as to boast their productivity. What we basically do is write research proposals, implements research work,collect and analyze data, interpret data, write reports, publish and disseminate results.
At community level, I am an executive member of the Brusubi Youth Development society BYDS, a charitable organization that is actively involved in development of my community and the country at large especially in youth related activities.
